In the world of sleep, young believers in all things paranormal and mystical will be whisked away to the Valerian Academy for Magickal Girls. Here they learn not just about the mysteries of the universe or the human soul, but how to be the best people they can be.

The series stars Rose Hawxby, a fourteen year old girl who has just joined the academy. Ripe with curiosity, she goes on wild adventures around the school with her friends. Things don't stay moonshine and rainbows forever, though, as Rose quickly finds herself involved in mysteries that her newfound education just can't seem to explain.
